Started in 2009 by Yazid Aksas, a Frenchman, Stanford MBA graduate, who decided that his mission will be to dress-up and upgrade his classmates’ styles. Aksel Paris was born.

Where did you get that shirt?

Not long after being questioned for the umpteenth time as to the origin of his favorite shirt, Yazid Aksas did what any sensible serial entrepreneur would. He decided to make more of them. 

That shirt, being any one of his original 23 designs, is a sleek, European-tailored, slim fit, button-down crafted from 100% pure cotton and featuring a number of intimate details. Each Aksel style boasts an extra tall collar, a bold contrasting interior and statement cuffs that are quietly bespoke for the office and subtly spectacular out on the town.*

Given their quality and design, Aksel shirts would normally cost you an arm and a leg. This was unacceptable to an ambitious young Frenchman and Stanford MBA graduate, who came to America to make an impact and to meet beautiful women. That’s why he decided to sell online only and avoid the traditional retail route which causes an inflation in clothing prices. Yazid sourced some unusually soft cotton, enlisted the help of a few gifted craftsmen and created an original line of gorgeous shirts to help his comrades look good too.
